Day1 - 8:00 Am pick up

from Kanchanaburi bus station  and transported to the project.

After a safety briefing on arrival at the project, you will prepare food for the elephants and then given the opportunity of meeting and getting to know the elephants whilst feeding them. Walk to the forest with the elephant to learn about elephant information.

After lunch, watch them enjoy playing in a mud pit. With no riding, walk with the elephants to the river and bathe the elephants.

Walk with the elephants through the forest back to the main project area, feed the elephants after feeding, our guide will take you to cut grass for elephant Learn about the importance of sustainable food preparation and help collect fresh grass for the elephants’ diet.

Check-in to accommodation within the project, followed by dinner at 6:00 PM.

After dinner and through the night, you will be able to appreciate the natural habitat.

Day 2 
A Deeper Connection with Elephants and Local Culture

After a nourishing breakfast, the second day offers a blend of hands-on activities and cultural exploration.

Morning Activities:
  • Sticky Rice Preparation for Elephants – Get hands-on experience cooking and shaping sticky rice balls, a favorite treat for the elephants.
  • Cleaning the Elephant Enclosure – Contribute to maintaining a clean and healthy habitat for the elephants while learning about their daily living conditions.
  • Visit to Krasae Cave and the Death Railway – Take a short excursion to a historic site featuring breathtaking scenery and an important piece of World War II history.

Midday Break

      Return to camp for a hearty lunch before resuming activities.

Afternoon Activities:
  • Feeding Sticky Rice to the Elephants – Watch the elephants enjoy the treats you prepared and gain deeper insight into their feeding habits.
  • Observing Elephants in the Mud Bath – Witness the elephants engaging in natural behaviors that keep them comfortable and healthy.
  • Final River Bathing Session – Experience one last playful and refreshing moment with the elephants in the river.
  • Farewell Feeding – End your journey with a final feeding session, creating a special goodbye moment before departing with unforgettable memories.

Final opportunities for photos and saying good bye.

3:00pm – Depart Elephant Haven project and return to Kanchanaburi arriving at about 4:00pm.
